Peach Kuchen

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 6 whole Peaches
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Cream

Directions

    Mix together the first four ingredients. You can use a pastry blender to mix in the butter or just used your hands. Mixture should be a fine crumble. Pat into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Press down with hands until very firm to form a crust.

    Scald, peel and pit peaches. Slice each peach into approximately 12 pieces. Lay peach slices in rows on top of crust.

    Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle on top of peaches. Bake for 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven.

    Mix egg and cream and pour over peaches. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
