Peach Upside-Down Cake

- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- 1 can peaches
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Spread softened butter or margarine in bottom of 9-inch square cake pan.

2Sprinkle brown sugar evenly on butter or margarine and arrange peaches on top of the mixture.

3Prepare cake batter according to package directions, then pour batter over fruit.

4Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 minutes.

5Loosen sides of cake with spatula.

6Place serving plate over cake and turn upside down immediately.

7Allow parts to rest over cake before removing.

8Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
