- 1 12 cups sugar
- 12 cup light Karo syrup
- 2 cups raw peanuts
- 12 cup cold water
- 1 pinch salt
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
Directions

1In iron frying pan, mix the sugar,syrup, water and salt.

2Bring this to a boil.

3Add the peanuts and cook over med-high heat stirring constantly approx.

415 minutes.

5Do NOT Scorch.

6Peanuts will crack.

7when mixture turns golden, remove from heat and add baking soda.

8Pour onto a greased cookie sheet and cool.

9Break into pieces when cool.
