- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 3 c. milk
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 c. ground parched peanuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pastry shell, baked
Directions

1Combine in saucepan 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and flour. Gradually stir in milk.

2Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

3Add slightly beaten egg yolks and cook 1 minute longer.

4Remove from heat and add peanuts and vanilla. Pour into pastry shell.

5Make meringue with egg whites and 6 tablespoons sugar.

6Bake at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes or until meringue is lightly browned.
