  • 1 large egg
  • 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 cup sour cream, plus
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 cup grated sweet pear
  • 9 fresh pears, slices 1/4-inch thick

Directions

    Heat oven to 400F Lightly butter and flour nine 4-inch tart pans.

    Combine the first four ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.

    Beat the butter and sugar, using a mixer on high speed, until light and fluffy.

    Add spices, egg, and vanilla; mix to combine.

    Reduce speed to low, add the flour mixture and sour cream.

    Stir in the pears.

    Pour 1/3 cup batter into each mold, top with a pear slice; bake for 20 minutes and cool.
