  • 1 kilogram Ripe Pear
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Tablespoons Port Wine

Directions

    Wash, core and peel the pears then cut into pieces.

    Place the pear pieces in a pan along with the sugar, cinnamon stick and port wine.

    Set the pan over medium heat, stir and cook until the pears are totally broken down.

    Stir once in awhile.

    Turn off the heat, remove the cinnamon stick and allow to cool completely.

    Store the cooled jam in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
