- 1 kilogram Ripe Pear
- 100 grams Sugar
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Tablespoons Port Wine
Directions

1Wash, core and peel the pears then cut into pieces.

2Place the pear pieces in a pan along with the sugar, cinnamon stick and port wine.

3Set the pan over medium heat, stir and cook until the pears are totally broken down.

4Stir once in awhile.

5Turn off the heat, remove the cinnamon stick and allow to cool completely.

6Store the cooled jam in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
