  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 12 cup pecans, chopped

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Mix milk and egg and add to dry ingredients.

    Mix, do not beat.

    Stir in pecans.

    Baked in greased loaf pan in a 350 preheated oven about 1 hour.

    Best kept a day or two before eating.

    Freezes well, great thinly sliced with cream cheese.
