  • 1 c. Karo syrup (1/2 c. light and 1/2 c. dark)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine the first five ingredients and stir well.

    Stir in the eggs, but do not beat.

    Fold in pecans.

    Pour into pastry-lined pan and bake at 425° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake 40 to 45 minutes.
