  • 1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. Karo syrup (light)
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie crust (deep dish)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and pour into pie crust.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake for 25 minutes or until firm in center.
