- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. pecans
- pastry for single pie

1Beat eggs.

2Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter.

3Line pie pan with pastry.

4Put in pecans in a layer.

5Add mixture. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 to 60 minutes.

6Nuts will rise to the top to form a crusted pie.
