  • 3 or 4 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. Karo syrup (dark)
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 (8 or 9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Mix ingredients and place in pie shell.

    Bake in hot oven at 400° about 15 minutes and then reduce to 340° for another 20 minutes.
