- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly.

2Add the eggs, syrup, salt, and vanilla extract.

3Beat well.

4Pour into 9-inch pastry shell.

5Scatter pecans over top of mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes, until firm.
