Pecan Roll Candy

Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
- 1 pkg. dates, chopped
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 qt. pecans, coarsely chopped
- scoop of butter or margarine (about the size of a walnut)
Directions

1Mix sugar, syrup and milk. Cook to a soft ball.

2Put in chopped dates and cook 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat and mix in butter and nuts. Stir until cool.

3Pour out on a clean, damp cloth.

4When cool enough to handle, roll into a roll.

5After candy is completely cool, roll up in foil and refrigerate. Slice and enjoy.
