  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 c. bread

Directions

    Heat milk to scalding.

    Remove from heat and add butter and sugar.

    Cool mixture in sink with cold water.

    Add eggs, raisins and vanilla.

    Pour over bread.

    Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
