Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 small green peppers, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cans whole tomatoes, chopped or pureed
- 1/2 to 1 can water (start with 1/2 and add more if needed)
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper or to taste
- 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. uncooked long grain rice
- 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Combine ground beef, green peppers and onion.

2Cook over medium heat until beef is lightly browned.

3Drain.

4Add tomatoes, water, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and rice.

5Cover and simmer until rice is done (15 to 20 minutes).

6Remove lid and continue cooking until remaining liquid is gone.

7Stir in cheese and transfer to a baking dish.

8Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes.
