- 1 1/2 lb. beef, sliced thin (flank steak)
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco, oil
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
Directions

1Brown onion, peppers and tomato.

2Put aside.

3Brown meat; stir in 2 cups water and soup mix; simmer 30 minutes.

4Add onion, peppers and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes; thicken with cornstarch.

5Serve over rice.
