- 1 1/2 lb. flank steak
- 2 medium onions
- 2 medium sweet peppers (red and green)
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 Tbsp. sherry or less (optional; do not use cooking sherry)
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cut steak into small strips, 3/8 x 3-inch approximately. Marinate steak strips 10 minutes in soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch and salt.

2Heat 2 tablespoons oil in pan; add garlic, onion and pepper and stir until tender.

3Remove from pan and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan; add meat and stir until cooked.

4Add vegetables and cook 1 minute more.

5The marinade mix may be added with the meat.

6Serve hot.
