  • 2 lb. small okra
  • 4 Tbsp. dill seed
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. salt

Directions

    Trim the tough stems from the okra.

    Pack okra into 4 pint jars (sterilize the jars before use).

    Add 1 tablespoon of dill and 1 clove garlic to each jar.

    Bring to a boil the vinegar, water and salt.

    Pour over okra and seal the jars in a water bath. Let ripen for 3 weeks at least.

    Serve cold.
