- 8 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 1 large green pepper, diced
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 3 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Sprinkle salt on vegetables.

2Cover with water and let stand for 2 hours; drain.

3Heat sugar, vinegar, mustard seed, prepared mustard and turmeric to a boil.

4Pour vegetables in and bring to boil second time.

5Pack in jars and seal.

6Makes approximately 5 pints.
