- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 egg yolks
Directions

1Mix the first 4 ingredients together and place 2/3 of mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan; pat down firmly.

2Mix together the last 4 ingredients and cook in double boiler until thick.

3Spread on top of first mixture.

4Put remaining crumb mixture on top.

5Tap down lightly.

6Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

7Cool and then cut into squares.
