Pineapple Caramel Cake

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 (20 oz.) can cut up pineapple
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, salt, soda and canned pineapple.

    The juice from the pineapple can is the only liquid in recipe.

    Pour into a greased 9 x 13 cake pan.

    Top with the brown sugar and walnuts. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
