- 3 lb. 8 oz. sugar
- 12 oz. butter
- 18 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 qt. crushed pineapple
- 1 c. cream
- 4 oz. nuts, chopped
- 3 oz. maraschino cherries, chopped
- 3 lb. 8 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter at medium speed for 5 minutes.

2Add egg yolks, blend well.

3Add pineapple and cream to mixture.

4Cook over hot water until thick.

5Cool.

6Add nuts and cherries.

7Place a thin layer in bottom of 12 x 2-inch pan.

8Fill pan with alternate third layers; fruit mixture and crushed wafers.

9Refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream.
