- 1 Duncan Hines cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- maraschino cherry halves
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly in pan.

3Arrange pineapple slices on sugar.

4Put cherry halves in center of each slice.

5Prepare cake as directed on package.

6Turn batter over fruit and spread evenly. Bake 43 to 48 minutes.

7Let stand 5 minutes.

8Loosen from pan upside down on platter.
