  • 2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. pistachio instant pudding
  • 1 box Dream Whip (2 envelopes)
  • 1 box quality white cake mix
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. cold milk
  • 1 c. corn oil
  • 1 c. club soda

    Cake:

    Sift cake mix into large mixer bowl.

    Add 1 box of pudding, eggs, oil, soda and nuts.

    On #1 speed, mix just enough to blend.

    Then beat on #4 speed for 4 minutes.

    Pour batter into smaller fluted or tube pan prepared for baking (greased and floured).

    Do not use 12 cup pan.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

    Test with toothpick at 40 minutes.

    Do not overbake.

    Cool in pan 10 minutes.

    Turn out.
