- 3 large whole wheat pita bread
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine, melted
- 14 cup minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 34 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1Preheat over to 350.

2Separate each pita round into 2 individual layers.

3In small bowl, combine butter/margarine, parsley, basil and scallions.

4Brush evenly over rough side of pita layers.

5Evenly sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.

6Cut each pita layer into 6 wedges.

7Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.

8Bake for 12 minutes or until crips and golden.

9Serve warm or at room temperature.
