- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes and green chilies, drained
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can corn, drained
- 5 (6-inch) pita rounds
- 1 c. shredded lettuce
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook ground beef and drain well.

2Add seasoning mix, water, tomatoes and green chilies and corn.

3Bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.

5Cut bread rounds in half.

6Place on baking sheet and bake at 250° for 10 minutes, or until warm.

7Fill each pocket half full with meat mixture and top with lettuce and cheese.
