1PUT OIL IN POT, THEN BROWN MEAT ON ALL SIDES. ADD A CUT UP ONION, 1 1/2 CUP OF WATER & FINISHED BEEF BROTH. COOK FOR 1/2 HOUR. ADD KETCHUP AND MUSTARD, COOK FOR TWO HOURS. THEN ADD CARROTS, POTATOES AND BAY LEAF. COOK FOR 1/2 HOUR.
