  • 3 lb. beef pot roast
  • 4 potatoes, quartered
  • 4 carrots, cut
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 envelope onion or onion-mushroom soup mix
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    In skillet, brown roast well.

    Transfer to roaster pan, then add vegetables.

    Mix water and soup mix.

    Pour over this.

    Salt and pepper well.

    Bake at 350° for 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.
