  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. fat
  • 1/2 c. water or milk (approximately)

Directions

    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

    Work in fat with a fork or knife.

    Add potatoes and mix thoroughly, then add enough liquid to make a soft dough.

    Roll the dough lightly to about 1/2 inch thick.

    Cut into biscuits and bake 12 to 15 minutes in 400° oven.
