- 2 (36 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 2 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pt. sour cream
Directions

1Defrost and drain potatoes.

2Combine corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter; set aside.

3Combine remaining 1/2 cup butter, salt, pepper, onion, cheese, soup and sour cream.

4Add potatoes.

5Place in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.

6Top with corn flake mixture and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
