- 1 c. hot mashed potatoes
- 2/3 c. Crisco
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 7 1/2 c. bread flour
Directions

1Put 6 1/2 cups flour in large bowl (will take more).

2Combine mashed potatoes and, while hot, add Crisco, sugar, milk, eggs and salt.

3Dissolve yeast in warm water.

4Add yeast mixture to rest of ingredients; stir into the flour.

5At first, stir with a spoon. Add more flour and knead to make a softer dough.

6Let rise in a warm place until double in size.

7Make into rolls and let rise. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes (depending on size of rolls).

8Usually makes 5 dozen rolls.

9Space them like cookies on a cookie sheet. These freeze well.
