- 1 c. butter
- 1 lb. sifted confectioners sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Thoroughly cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift dry ingredients.

2Mix water and extracts.

3Add sifted ingredients to egg mixture alternately with combined water and extracts.

4Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 375° for 60 to 65 minutes.
