  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (8 oz.) whipping cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1-1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Put into greased, floured tube pan. Put in COLD oven at 325 degrees for 1 hr. and 15 mins. or until tester comes out clean.

    Let cool for 5 minutes and turn upside down on cake plate and remove pan.

    Cool completely before slicing.
