- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 1-1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
- 1 cup Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cups Low-fat Or Non-fat Buttermilk
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
- 1/4 cups Chocolate Chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

2Mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a small bowl.

3In a large bowl, beat pumpkin puree, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg and oil together. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, stirring just until moistened (over-mixing will cause the bread to become too tough). Add chocolate chips.

4Pour into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour.
