- 15 ounces 100% pure pumpkin puree
- 23 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 14 cup sugar free maple syrup
- 12 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, blend (OR 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/8 teaspoon each of cloves, and nutmeg)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt
Directions

1In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine the pumpkin, Splenda, syrup, lemon juice, Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend, and salt.

2Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

3Reduce heat to low, and allow to cook stirring frequently for 1 hour, or until thick and dark.

4Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
