- 3 whole chicken breasts, cut in half, skin and fat removed
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3 onions, quartered
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. sliced carrots
Directions

1Brown chicken in oil.

2Drain off fat.

3Add remaining ingredients to skillet.

4Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender, adding more water if needed. Remove cover and continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated and mixture is thick.
