Quick Pinwheel Coffee Cake

  • 2 pkg. refrigerator crescent rolls
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. hot milk
  • red jelly or cherry preserves or cranberry orange relish

Directions

    Separate rolls and spread each with butter.

    Sprinkle mixture of sugar and cinnamon on rolls.

    Roll up as directed on can. Arrange in a circle on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

    Arrange remaining rolls on top.

    Bake 15 minutes at 375°.

    (Cover tips with foil so as to brown evenly.)

    Spoon jelly, preserves or relish in center of rolls, letting some run between rolls. Combine confectioners sugar and milk; drizzle mixture over the rolls.

    Serve warm.
