- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup swiss cheese shredded
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch) 9 inch, frozen, ready-to-bake, thawed
- 1/2 cup bacon cooked, crumbled
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg ground
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).

2In a medium bowl, combine the cheeses and sprinkle half of the mixture into the pie shell.

3Sprinkle with the bacon bits and then cover with the remaining cheese.

4In a small bowl, combine the eggs, milk, onion powder, and pepper and beat until thoroughly mixed.

5Pour over the cheese and sprinkle with the nutmeg.

6Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until firm and a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7Cool for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges.

8Serves: 6 to 8.
