  • 1/2 lb. split peas*, add last 10 to 20 minutes of cooking
  • 8 c. water
  • 3 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 1 c. rice or barley*
  • 1 c. grated carrot*

Directions

    Bring water with all ingredients to a boil.
