- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pt. evaporated milk
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. raisins
- nuts, candied fruit (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and eggs for 5 minutes.

2Add vanilla, flour, baking powder and canned milk.

3Add raisins.

4Add nuts and candied fruit if desired.

5Pour into 3 greased loaf pans.

6Bake at 250° approximately 2 1/4 to to 2 1/2 hours.
