  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 heaping tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. soft oleo
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 c. fruit
  • 1 c. sugar (for fruit)
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water or juice

Directions

    Mix ingredients (sugar, flour, baking powder, oleo and milk) and put in ungreased baking dish (8 x 12). Cover with fruit. Over fruit, sprinkle 1 cup sugar. Then pour over all the boiling water or juice. Bake at 375° about 60 minutes.
