- 8 oz. pork sausage
- 2 c. corn meal
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 hot peppers, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Fry sausage until done.

2Reserve 2 or 3 tablespoons drippings.

3Crumble sausage.

4Combine corn meal, flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

5In separate bowl, combine eggs, pepper, onion, corn, buttermilk and cheese.

6Add egg and sausage.

7Pour into greased skillet and bake at 450° for 20 to 25 minutes.
