Red Cabbage With Wine

- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 4 c. shredded red cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. red wine
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Fry onion in butter 3 or 4 minutes.

2Add cabbage and sprinkle with brown sugar, salt and pepper.

3Then add wine and vinegar. Cover and cook slowly for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 4.
