  • 1 whole chicken, boiled and deboned
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Texas Pete
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can green peas, drained
  • 2 c. chicken broth

    Boil and debone chicken (save broth).

    Saute onion and peppers in bacon grease.

    Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Texas Pete.

    Let simmer.

    Add ketchup and chicken broth.

    Stir in peas, then add chicken pieces.

    Serve over rice.
