- 1 c. crushed Shredded Wheat
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. melted shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. Bran Buds or All-Bran
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Combine Shredded Wheat and boiling water.

2Add following in the order given and mix well while adding: 1/2 cup buttermilk, honey, shortening, sugar, eggs, baking soda, remaining buttermilk, Bran Buds and flour.

3Store in refrigerator up to 5 weeks.

4Or place in muffin tins and bake at 375° for 25 minutes.

5Makes 24 muffins.
