- 4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 3 sliced onions
- 4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/4 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Mix together sugar, vinegar, salt and spices to a cold syrup. Do not heat.

2Wash and sterilize 4 pint jars.

3Slice onions equally into jars.

4Wash and slice cucumbers to fill jars.

5Stir syrup well and pour over cucumbers and onions.

6Screw on lids. Refrigerate at least 5 days before using.

7Will keep in refrigerator at least 9 months.
