- 1 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
- 1 c. onion, cut up
- 1 c. green pepper, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Put salt on cucumbers, onion and pepper.

2Let set 1 hour; drain well.

3Mix remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Place in jars and refrigerate.

4Ready to eat in 10 days, but flavor improves if left longer.

5Can be kept for weeks.

6Two and a half batches of syrup makes 1 gallon of pickles.
