- 7 c. sliced cucumbers (5 medium-sized)
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1 c. sliced green pepper
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 1 tsp. dill seed
Directions

1Scrub cucumbers well.

2Do not peel.

3In large bowl, sprinkle salt over cucumbers, onions and green pepper.

4Stir gently.

5Let stand, covered with foil, for 1 to 3 hours or overnight.

6(If overnight, place in refrigerator.)

7Drain off liquid.

8Combine vinegar, sugar, celery, mustard and dill seed.

9Pour over vegetables; stir and cover.

10Let stand 36 hours.

11Store, covered, in refrigerator.
