- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. chopped rhubarb
Directions

1Cream together sugar and shortening.

2Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together.

3Put in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon on top of batter.

5Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes.
