- 6 c. water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 medium onion
- 2 medium potatoes
- 1 Tbsp. margarine (optional)
- 2 1/2 c. rice
- 2 c. frozen vegetables, thawed (optional)
Directions

1Put 6 cups of water in a 2-quart pot on high.

2Add margarine (optional), garlic and onion.

3Cut the potatoes in squares and add to the boiling mixture.

4Add vegetables (optional) and rice. Cover with a lid.

5Place on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
